The new plant is slated for commercial operations in 2010, and will focus on the production of connectors and sockets for notebooks, motherboards and other devices.
The US$5 million will be used mainly to purchase the lot of land as well as financing the construction of the new plant, with the company planning to inject more funds to install the needed machinery and equipment when the new plant is completed.
